Markus Frohnmaier, the leader of the youth organization of the German Eurosketpic AfD party wants to send Bavarian prime minister Horst Seehofer to the psychiatrist.
Bavarian prime minister Horst Seehofer just came back from a three-day-trip to Moscow and was welcomed back in Germany by trolling. The reason: Seehofer, who is a strong supporter of Angela Merkel and who’s CSU party is governing together with Merkel’s CDU and Social Democrats in Berlin, made a promise in Moscow to work on lifting the anti-Russian sanctions.
At the same time the CSU is conducting a social media campaign with pictures of Horst Seehofer and Andreas Scheuer, the general secretary of the party. Seehofer is presented with the sentence: “We don’t want a republic, where left forces and multiculturalism are dominating.” Scheuer is quoted with: “The German passport is not a junk good.” The sentences are in Russian language. The purpose of this campaign is to gain back ethnic Russian and Russian-German voters who supported more and more the AfD party in the last elections.
Markus Frohnmaier, youth leader of Germany’s Euroskeptic AfD party, calls Seehofer’s mission to Moscow and the CSU-campaign “bizarre”. In a statement he stressed that in Germany everybody knows that “Seehofer made Angela Merkel’s policy possible by his loyal support.” Seehofer’s CSU indeed supported Merkel’s politics of “open borders” and her uncontrolled mass migration agenda, the CSU as well supports the anti-Russian sanctions policy of the German government. Frohnmaier: “If the Bavarian prime minister seriously would want to change our government’s policy, he would simply have to act and not just to talk.” Markus Frohnmaier has been criticizing the Western sanction politics against Russia since 2014 and visitied Donetsk personally in 2015 for a conference in support for the rights of the Donbass people.
Frohnmaier recommended Seehofer as well to consult a psychiatrist, “that he gets a proper check”. Frohnmaier: “He who frequently speaks in foreign countries the contrary of what he really does at home should get his brain waves checked.”
