SANA’A, Yemen – Residents of Sanaa inspected the aftermath from heavy Saudi-led airstrikes on Wednesday morning.
Footage shows bombed-out cars and damage to buildings in the Hada district, the capital’s diplomatic quarter.
It is also close to the residence of the late former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who was killed some days ago by Houthi rebels after his militia attempted to remove them from Sana’a.
Saudi Arabia has been brutally bombing Yemen since March 2015 in the attempt to defeat the Houthis on behalf of their allies in the rival Yemeni government based in Aden.
