Russia's Aeroflot closes 92 out of 94 international flights

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russian flagship air carrier Aeroflot has closed 92 out of 94 international flights, spokesman Mikhail Demin told TASS. Earlier reports said that the emergency response team on the coronavirus spread prevention tasked the Federal Air Transport Agency with closing all regular and charter international flights, excluding those carrying citizens back.

“As of March 26, restrictions and reductions someway or other concern 92 international routes out of 94, which is 1,365 flights per week, according to the winter schedule,” he said, adding that “it is an expected measure to fully ban international flights, excluding special return flights.”
